Where even to begin? The service and quality is very poor, bad modem for WiFi and definitely not fast.Cancelled my service 8 months ago and yet I'M STILL getting monthly bills, called customer service so many times I've lost count, each time is a very long wait and then no one "has the authority" to fix issue, even managers can't help. I've switched to digiweb and couldn't be happier. How Eir is still in business baffles me.
Vodafone was taken to court and fined recently for poor customer service and customers not being able to cancel, after 8 MONTHS, even though they received 30 day notice and I got confirmation of cancellation, yet I'm still being charged?! Looks like Eir is soon to follow in their footsteps

I posted here on 3 May. An Eir customer service representative conceded that I had been overcharged by E223 on my 12 month contract.Before challenging them, I took the precaution of cancelling my Direct Debit.
Most people dont know that they have the absolute right to cancel their DD through their bank without having to prove anything. In fact, one has the right to recall a payment up to 8 weeks after execution.
Cancellation with your bank can be done on line, assuming you have online banking.
I am now in control, not EIR!

I reluctantly decided to leave Pure Telecom in favour of Eir because the latter offered a good bundle,including television. After waiting about 2 months for Eir's service I cancelled waiting and signed up with Virgin - but encountered the same lack of service. I then returned to Pure Telecom when I knew I'd get good service - and did!

I called EIR today expecting to be on the phone for hours and to get nowhere. When I signed up with them I was promised a certain price and not long after the bill was not as supposed to be.I called and ended up having to go through Comreg to get it sorted. Eventually, it was sorted by a complaints Manager and I had to email him every 6 months to get discounts applied. The last time I emailed him he had left and I was dreading contacting EIR to sort. I called them and they got it wrong again but today I called them to get that fixed and for the first time in years I was not fuming when I got off the phone. The lady was super, she explained what had happened and sorted it. Maybe I just struck lucky and got a great customer service advisor (Carmen) on the day but if all there calls were dealt with like that they would have no complaints.

STAY AWAY....Worst company ever....
after waiting 2 weeks for the installation , they couldn't find my address,they went to the wrong place! I leave in Finglas not in the jungle they said the address was unreachable....
After that I try to cancel the contract, it took me 2 days .
The first day after 40 MINUTES waiting on line, just give up.
The second day they passed me from a department to another, and where extremely rude and arrogant when I told them I was going to cancel.
I went to Virgin in TWO DAYS , got broadband in my house.
