The item arrived when expected and was well packaged.
Unfortunately, I soon discovered that,although the PCMCIA slot on my laptop was the same width as the card, it couldn't be fully inserted as it actually only accepts the narrower cards via a caddy.
No reflection whatsoever on Ebuyer who I'd be very happy to use in future.

Beware of "restocking fee" of 20% on returns

Returned an incorrectly ordered and unopened motherboard and was charged a 20% "restocking fee".Saw no mention of this anywhere but was told "it's in the ts and cs". Going to my bank for a chargeback. Avoid.

I placed an order for a pc case on Sunday afternoon as the site said order within an hour for delivery tomorrow.It may have been my fault but when I checked the order later, delivery was noted as Friday of this week and not today as need. I sent ebuyer an enote and an email to request cancellation as Friday delivery would have been no good to me. I followed this up with a telephone call to their customer services as soon as they opened this morning. They do not function on a Sunday. I requested a cancellation and was told that this had been requested and that I would receive an email later in the day to confirm this. At 2 pm I had received no email and so telephoned them once again only to be told that the order couldn't be cancelled. I told them that I would refuse delivery and they agreed that that was the best course of action. This now means that I will not receive my refund for a few weeks whilst they sort the whole thing out. A far as customer services go I now believe that this is non-existant. I placed an order on a Sunday and they couldn't cancel it first thing on Monday when it is not due for delivery until Friday. Oh come on.....who are you trying to kid? You need to regain your customer focus!! To all buyers from the site make sure that the details that you enter are correct and that you never want to cancel and order because you will end up running through hoops. Whatever they say about Amazon they do provide a really good service and know how to listen to their customers.
