eBay doesn't even deserve one star. They are dishonest and allow corruption to run rampid in their company.I called "customer service"because I needed help with a refund. Instead I got scammed out of $400.00. I'm a disabled senior. Who trusted them. My accounts were all hacked my phone was wiped out. This is half a months income for me. I recontacted customer being promised help. And was told to wait an hour for them to do reaserch and was then guaranteed a call back. No call back. Instead my phone completely shut down. It had to be wiped clean. I lost all my photos of my kids grandkid dogs etc. As well as apps and contacts. I see many drs and lost all their contacts as wall as family friends etc. My health is not good. I'm sorry but they have made my life a living hell. And they don't care. They prey on disabled and seniors we are treated like animals not human beings. Sham on you eBay for letting greed be your #1priority. I've saved for a year to visit grandchildren I've never seen. Thank you eBay for distroying that. My life has been turned upside down thanks to eBay. And I have recently heard many other horror stories attached to eBay. How dare you

ebay sucks i won the auction and i have to pay sales tax and i dont want the item i,m trying to cancelit .my computer did the misstackits not my faultebay is not like it uto be plus i uto call a rep atthe toll free number for help .not no more is done buy email or chat ..it sem they are thating me it dummi,m not buying the item .plus i remember i buy item out of my state and did pay sale taxon ebay thank to our goverment.

ebay sellers and buyers are uneducated, please read and learn,your better off selling through companies like Gumtree Craids list etc etc dropping the price cheaper because you do not get charged like eBay does plus you get the exact same process because its all through PAYPAL anyway so no difference just cheaper, Even America doesn't buy it as much as us and you cant get dum ber than them,eBay is crap and a con get people interested unlike Gumtree all you'll save a lot of money and exactly the same safety buying on it.

Yes and I was trying to contact the eBay support to help me out to remove suspended from my account but no hope,because I used to have a store in my country Morocco, where I sell my handmade items and I close it because of the Corona Virus, and now I want to sell these handmade products on eBay, and here now I just really want everyone to know how this company not have mercy to help a person like me he have 3 little kids and wife want just to help hes family and selling handmade items, Now I pray to God to send Karma to all eBay employed that not have any mercy.

Absolutely disgusted by ebay customer service agents reply.
Over 10 different agents replied my one return issues.Ans yet no one can really spend the time and solve the problem.
I returned a pair of Jimmy choo shoes, I apis by bank card.
At the beginning several ebay agents told me that my refund is on the way back to my original payment. Told me a several times to wait for the money to transfer to my bank. The seller told me ebay has deducted the money from her bank account.
After one month another agent send me an email saying that need the PayPal account for the " camera case " to be refunded.
What camera case ???
Why need PayPal account After a month?
Again, no apologies for the mistakes ans no explanations as always.
I told him that I paid by bank transfer, another new agent told me to check with my bank, its not ebay responsibility any more. Basically ebay kept the money.
I want to escalate this case to ombudsman because I knew there are people out there just like me mistreated by ebay custom service agents. I have kept all the evidence emails,if you have the similar situation, please escalate ans protect our customers rights.

I bought an iPad 4 on eBay back in mid ‘18. It was like new and I used it to stream movies, read,email, amazon, ebay,...until around Nov ‘20. Still in excellent condition with an upgraded case that I bought for it, I put it up for sale because I bought an larger upgraded one. Buyer from my home state buys it about 8 days b4 Xmas. Nice guy I am I offer to meet to check/hand off iPad in person so buyer wouldn’t have to wait. Shipping was bogged down due to pandemic online shopping, holidays, and a recent snowstorm. Thought I was doing the buyer a nice courtesy. The fraudster grabs the device and takes off after I ask him to email me via eBay to show he received it in lieu of a tracking number. Buyer takes the iPad home, and later accesses his Appleid icloud account, resets the device, and then tells eBay it was this way when he received it. I told the buyer I would meet him at a local police station where we could put all the facts on the table including appleids... The liar buyer declines telling eBay the 1.5 hour drive was too long (1 hour according to google mapping). I contact eBay, they tell me well send him the return shipping and you can reverse it on appeal after you get the iPad back and make the case against the buyer. So, I get it back and it’s locked and displays the locking Appleid that has the guys last name first initial and 5 characters more which matches the length of his first name (p*****.icloud.com - my appleid is e*******@verizon.net). I show eBay via myriad screenshots of my appleid account and my icloud account that’s unused with no devices in it that the appleid locking it is not mine, and matches the details of the buyer, and that I don’t use these services which could lock the device. Even if it were my id that locked it it would show the pattern of my appleid on the activation screen instead of the fraudsters. In fact, I don’t use Apple services like Find My or iCloud and my account info showed as much. eBay rules in favor of the liar-fraudster who knows how to get over on honest people. Now, I have a locked iPad that is a virtually useless brick.
It was clear from the contents of a string of emails between buyer/seller and information I provided that buyer remorse played a factor likely due to the year of the iPad 4, and vindictiveness, and his being a liar p-rick to abuse the eBay system to get free return shipping and refund. Also clear was that eBay didn’t bother reviewing the information and simply made an arbitrary decision that helps eBay. They took ‘food off my table’ and will never do that to me again. I’ve increased my buying on Amazon, Apple, and Walmart online sites and have stopped using eBay altogether - no buying or selling. When I got burned by a seller on eBay selling hotspot data plans that AT&T later said were tablet plans eBay could do nothing even though the shyster seller is still there selling.... Once eBay gets past their prevention of account closing period they’ll have 1 less long time account holder. 1 star is being generous, but there is no option for less. Don’t reward eBay with your hard earned money as a buyer or seller. Too many better options. I’ve bought over $600.00 in merchandise with another $180.00 coming up shortly from non-eBay online sites and it never ends...
