Recently, a DISH salesperson came to our house. Their behavior was extremely deceptive and reflects quite poorly on DISH (assuming they support and even promote these tactics).I will *never* subscribe to DISH service for any reason because of this, and will *never* recommend them to anyone. If you treat people honestly in business dealings, your business will thrive.

Technician was HIGH!!!

These folks sent out a technician who was higher than a kite....he wore his dark sunglasses INSIDE,argued with my Dad re: local channels NOT being free with the pkg. that we were buying, then began to make fun of me because I'm physically handicapped and wouldn't be able to help him if he had to climb up to see if our dish was blocked. He then went out to his truck....he came back in with a runny nose and some white powder under his nose....He swayed back and forth and continued to play with keys or coins in his pocket. PLEASE DISH, do a drug test on your employees! We'll be going to another satellite service ASAP!

they dont have oan and gsn rfdtv is not in 64.99 it in thehigh package .they wont give a the deal iwant i,m on a tight fixed income if swich you will miss some channel you get on directv dish doe not carry.i want to change from directv to dish dish doe not offer me those chanel plus they want 500 upfront for reciever. dish will not give them for fee to new customer .i mean oan is not on dish but on direct.dish need to put directv tv channel on there satalite you directv n

Continue price raise even w/package channel loss

The good experience I have had with Dish in the past. They were honest when I first signed up.They told me all the (beginning) cost ( the exact cost of the bill) with no bull..no unexpected charge..unlike another company. With that being said. The cost started off around $120.00 per month with the "special". Since then, it has slowly went up to NOW..$187.88 (note: years later, special no longer applied, a SLIGHT rise in cost is to be expected) But $67.00+?? Now adding up to $814.00+ more a year..Considering the fact that since I have first signed up, I've LOST channels I was originally paying for, in THIS "SAME" package that IS supposed to had been included!...AND alot of reruns in the channels provided..( that of course isn't their fault..) I don't get service in the mornings on certain channels where I live during the spring due to satellite interruption. I guess it's the way the earth lays..I was told that once by one of their people..I don't know for certain..After I was told that, I never complain because I figured that's not their fault. After spring, I typically stop getting the "satellite has been lost" that much. But, they have now raised their rates another $5.00 this year. When I called to question, customer service said, "Well, that's the new price." I almost felt like she was saying HAHa..:/ Basically, I felt there was no concern from her. Then she tried to tack on some type of scape channel at no "extra" charge for "two" months?? Wait..What?..NO!!!.. I really felt no concern from her then! At the moment I will stay with DISH. But, I'll be looking at options elsewhere. This price is RIDICULOUS for the quality, and channels I'm provided. DISH, why don't you seem to care about your old customers?.. Not just the new ones. Recommendation to Dish: Don't continually go up on you old customers that have been with you for years. It would seem loyalty would mean something to you.

Stay away from dish network they are terrible i received a letter from them saying they where sendingmy account to a debt collector for 106.57 yesterday and i payed it a few week ago being a loyal customer really means nothing to them i kept in contact with them about my situation at work with covid many times and told them about me taking a paycut and not getting my normal hours at work i have been with them for 14 or 15 years and all i have got from them was a hard time i was getting emails from them as late as 12 or 1 oclock in the morning even after i ask them to remove me from getting emails plus how many times i have not been able to even watch tv because of weather or Chanel disputes with them i never gave them a hard time but im going to be done with them

Absolutely maddening. Made one phone call to ask about seniors who are 35 year customers getting a price break.They sent a rep out and "gave me" the hopper and better, cheaper programming-----NOT! More expensive, took away the channels I told them I watched, raised the price. Don't support this company, it will go bankrupt soon ---- as soon as people realize they can't collect their $495 early termination fee from the millions of customers they ripped off. Don't give them a dime, please

After many years as DirectTv customers…

After many years as DirectTv customers my husband moved us to Dish. He had 2 reasons for doing so. 1.They were cheaper by more than $30 and they had a promo running for a $300 MasterCard gift card when you signed a 2 year contract. Our installation was pushed back due to a major ice storm and power outage. After waiting the appropriate amount of time my husband called to check on the gift card. The customer service representative he spoke with said they had no record of that promotion and could only honor it if he had the promotion code, which of course he didn’t. After jumping through numerous hoops they finally agreed to upgrade our hopper at no charge. Our appointment was changed due to an epic snow storm. The second appointment was confirmed but no body ever showed up. I really didn’t expect they would due to a second storm but we never received a call to cancel or reschedule. So my questions are this. 1. What company doesn’t keep track of their own promotions and dates? 2. Is the customer service I received indicative of your standards? Would love to return to DirectTv but unfortunately got roped into a 2 year contact
