Worst bus line in Brussels.

I took the de lijn bus number 116 yesterday and had the worst bus experience ever.The first thing I want to notice is that if you don't have a phone with 4G, there is no way to find the itinerary of the buses (The bus stop's list is not displayed anywhere, not at the bus stops themselves, neither in the bus). The bus stops are not even announced in the bus, so if you don't know exactly where you are going and what the place looks like, you can easily miss your bus stop. I feel like it's not inclusive of visually impaired people too. The worst thing about yesterday was that, because I was not sure that the bus was going to where I wanted to go, I nicely asked the bus driver (in French and then in English). He seemed very annoyed that I talked to him and told me something in Dutch (that I did not get) and opened the bus door. From his tone and because he opened the door, I assumed that he told me that the bus don't stop where I wanted to go, so I got out. I then found out from another person at the bus stop that I was in fact in the right bus and that I had to wait half an hour to have the following one. The service is awful. It's not my first time using the de lijn buses and the drivers are always very unfriendly. As a side note, I am specifically talking about the buses that are in the direct periphery of Brussels. I went in Antwerp and the service is much better there.

The worst bus line. Our bus didn’t even show up and the app says it was already there and now we’re gonna be late.AGAIN. Thanks bus 355 ❤️❤️ I absolutely hate you. Worst service.

One is smallest I can give if I could I would give minus, the people who work for them think its their private work club and have no motivation to serve the people of Gent who pay there wages,i never had an apology for late or no show trams or buses, I have had tram drivers pass me by for no reason. In my opinion everyone should be fired and made to start again from the bottom.

Literally the worse experience ever, i waited 20 minutes for the bus cus it was late,i was in a street where only one bus passes by, and i saw the bus coming, i was in front of the station and he didnt even stop he just left. i had to wait for an hour and a half for the other one to come, just cus the drivers are insane. I literally just had the worst experiences with those busses

Bus came 10 minutes early, so I missed it. The next one was scheduled two hours later.Customer service is rude and unhelpful. Such a shame that I'm paying taxes for a service that's run by incompetent people. Delays are understandable, but there's no reason why a bus should be too early. De Lijn should take MIVB as an example.

The worst experience, and it's not even the first one, this one ,the driver was so disrespectful against my mother,the bus came earlier than expected (first time) and I was just writing my ticket, the driver started cursing in Dutch like it was the worst thing in the world. I just brush it off but he started to talk louder and louder. The audacity some people have. He was early, I wasn't late on my ticket. Disrespectful, they have no respect for older people or anyone who isn't their own.

It is just not good.Bus is or late,or to early and you miss it.Drivers are nice,but De Lijn CONTROLEis just terrible.I had my ticket checked 4times by the same guy,because he didn't like me I guess.I never traveled without valid ticket but somehow they just don't like me.De Lijn is the reason why I got a bike.I use to wait up to hour for my 180,181,182 or 183 bus.I use to leave the house at 7:50 to be at school on time and I was late like 90% of the time.Now I go 8:25 with bike and I'm never late.I'm avoiding De Lijn as much as I can.

You don't do your work properly! I used many buses from different companies but your work is just the worst!!!Your bus drivers never arrive on time! Never!!!! I am am not the only person that has a bad experience with your buses!!!! Do you really think that you can succeed if you do nothing to get better??? I will never use your buses again!!!!! Because of you many people have a lot of problems now!!!!!!
