Stole my Money, No Shipment, No Replies

I placed an order for Curlsmith at the end of March 2021. I have not received it as of May 27th and I have been emailing the company and even posting on their Instagram posts with NO RESPONSE.Curlsmith appears to scam people out of their money. I wish I had seen these reviews before ordering from this sham of a company. I live in Canada and with exchange rate I am out extra money due to exchange rate and this company cannot reply to any of my communications? They post of SM, but ignore my comments asking for my order or an update?
I would say buy something else, because it looks like they steal your money and you end up with absolutely no product. SCAM

tl;dr: customer service is almost non-existent. If you have a problem with your order,be prepared to just eat the cost.
Wish I'd seen these reviews. They have one product that really works for me. I'd been buying from bigger brands and figured this time I'd purchase directly from the company (they're a small business, and I'm thinking "let me buy direct, help their profit margins"). Never again.
A few days after the tracking said the package was delivered, it still hadn't arrived. It's highly unlikely that it was delivered and stolen as our mail is in a secure, locked box big enough for medium sized packages and I received other mail that day. Things happen, no big deal.
I reach out to the company for details on their next steps. They initially brush me off, but I persist, asking for details of the package so I can make a claim with USPS. They respond by asking me to fill out their claim form, a form that states that their policy is to replace items lost in post. I complete the form and return to them, asking for confirmation that a replacement will be sent. And then... nothing.
It's been three business days. I have written them once every day, requesting a response. In the meantime, I've bought the product from Ulta.com (highly recommend, great service), but I'm not too happy about essentially losing my money. They have no customer service phone number, their chat just directs you to USPS (again, how can we fill out a claim if you won't share details about the shipment?).
Good product, but not worth all this hassle. I'll find something else.

Curly hair users beware!! If you want to take care of your hair

Like most customers on here I purchased CurlSmith products, based on their mostly '5 star'reviews on their own website.
Same issues with delivery and tracking, no sign of them after 12 days. Emailed for a refund and all of a sudden the morning after they were despatched with absolutely not contact from the company.
The products arrived 3 days later and I firmly believed they'd be worth the wait?? It's a very clever scam this website. The product is put in fancy packaging and your brain is saying, 'this must be great'. NO it is not. I have never in my 46 years of managing my own long curly thick hair used anything so harsh in my entire life!! It's so bad its frightening, when after a couple of uses of all these products, Curl Defining Styling Soufflé,Hold Me Softly Style Balm,Moisture Memory Reactivator and Curl Quenching Conditioning Wash. YOUR HAIR is left like STRAW and if someone poured a bottle of DYE BLEACH all over it!!! I've had to resort to using pure coconut oil for the past week or so to try and get my hair back to some kind of reasonable condition.
I contacted their customer services to request a return and refund. Of course they used the so called 15 day money back guarantee... and would not hear of any kind of mediation. Maybe I should report them to Trading Standards and find out exactly what is in the products, that causes immediate damage to your hair. If they were so positive about the products, they'd be alarmed with negative feedback, but obviously using the website to hide this.
Funnily, I was never asked to leave a review at anytime directly with CurlSmith????
I've contacted my credit card company and there is a dispute now underway to retrieve my monies.
Stupidly I should have gone on Trustpilot before buying from them.
I always use Luster's Pink it's designed for Afro hair at a fraction of the cost of this rubbish and is really good! Why I thought I'd treat myself to CurlSmith products I really do not know.
By the way Curlsmith, thanks for requesting more information regarding my review!! I sent a number of emails back and forth to 'Lucy', who made it very clear the company wanted nothing to do with any fundamental issues I had with £96 worth of hair products!! According to 'Lucy' she could give me advice on more suitable products??? So the ones I ordered for ALL CURLY HAIR TYPES ON YOUR WEBSITE ARE WRONG BY YOUR OWN ADMISSION. Curlsmith had every chance to resolve this and refused point blank!

Even the trial sizes cost 20% more than other brands like Ouidad and DevaCurl. Not trying to be funny,best bet is to ask a friend who uses this line for samples and buy them dinner or something in exchange. Really though you need to try these before buying the full size. I’m stuck with full size products that are wrong for my hair needs.

My hair became extremely dry, stringy, frizzy, dull and lifeless after using curlsmith protein
Builder.The worst Curl products I have tried hands down and I've tried 40 or more over the years. Don't waste your time or money on low quality product that ruined my beautiful curls.
I have never ever experienced this with any product I've used until using the awful curlsmith line. I even tried contacting their customer service but they were the opposite of empathetic and actually admitted that this would happen from their products!!!
Save yourself your beautiful curls and learn from another's mistakes.

To all the gents out there...this product is the truth! I have been using the detox kit as well as thedensity elixir for the past couple of months and I am already noticing a difference.
