Fabulous tea and super service!

Reviewed on 2021-03-18T20:51:19

I've been drinking Clipper Tea for a while now and I'm quite fond of this brand as they seem to have the most taste compared to competitors (Twinings etc)I decided to purchase directly from them as I couldn't reliably find the flavours I wanted and my local stores sadly don't stock Clipper Teas. The delivery has always been fast and I've not had any issues, would highly recommend them! :)

No, they DON’T contain plastic.

I like Clipper tea. And I’ve never had a teabag break. And they DON’T contain plastic, polypropylene or whatever. As per their website, they contain ‘a ‘non-GM bio-material made from plant cellulose known as PLA’. So yah-boo to the nay-sayers.

always used clipper but not any more! nothing ethical or fair about this brand anymore..bought 1100fairtrade bags online as we couldnt buy locally and drink alot of tea..they keep bursting and dont taste as rounded and apparently now contain plastic in there bags!!!.contacted customer dis- services who gave me some bull**** corporate answer and offered money off future purchases..why would i spend more money on a product that isnt fit for purpose...no refund as there distributers are used as there kop-out.always thought consumers had a comeback under sales of goods act..but alas cant be bothered chasing these clowns anymore..dont make the mistake we did..looking at other reviews im not alone with there service

Salty & Almost Tasteless

Reviewed on 2020-12-27T20:32:45

I bought Clipper Decaf "Organic Fairtrade"Tea (80 bags) recently. The brew is very disappointing - almost tasteless with just a salty presence.Clipper trades on its organic and natural credentials, but this tea is more costly than others and is inferior.

The best tasting and healthiest decaf tea

Reviewed on 2019-02-05T23:57:45

Clipper make the best organic decaf tea. Not only is it one of the tastiest decaf varieties but is is also one of the only teas on high street made with the natural CO2 decaffeination process. Most of the other big tea brands use carcinogenic chemicals to separate out the caffeine. I think they are even scrapping using plastic in the tea bags. Good work Clipper.

plastic tea bags

Reviewed on 2018-08-17T07:24:15

I bought Clipper products thinking they were healthier. Turns out their tea bags contain polypropylene - plastic. You add your hot water to make the tea and, bingo, out leaches the chemicals into your beverage. With the oceans full of plastics, and the fish we eat polluted with microscopic pieces of plastic that we then eat, and with the toothpaste full of plastic microbeads, even having a cup of tea will ensure you get your daily dose of petrochemicals. Clipper, a corporation ruining the world with the rest of them.
