Depositing money to this exchange is super easy. Now if you ever want to withdraw money to your visa card here is where you get screwed.I put in a request to withdraw 700$. I received 5 transfers of roughly 116$ equating to 583$. One transfer of $116 never came. Why they sent the money this way I don't know. When contacting support their response is simply "we sent the money, check with your bank". Their support btw is a joke. They reply when they feel like it and they don't have a working phone. My bank says that there were no more transfers. CEX wont help in any way to resolve this issue. If you ever want to withdraw money from this exchange... good luck.

I am being asked to submit info about a wallet i used it's not the biggest problem especially when ittook me about 2 months of messaging back and forth to be able to withdraw my own money the problem is this wallet was used sometime last year and have no accesscurrently so cex.io before you ask for ridiculous details atleast check the date of whatever youre requesting and see if its reasonable enough to ask info about a wallet i used many months ago

I think it's a scam. I can not withdraw even Crypto let alone to fiat. They say upload a high quality photo,I upload then suspended my account due to suspicious activity. Do NOT trust them.

I am truly pained, it has been since March I made a withdrawal for urgent medical needs,but till today no funds was recieved in my bank. I checked everyday till today, I complained on Telegram they boot me out and blocked me.
I opened a ticket on support.cex.io and it has been more than 15 days and their response were mostly template/automated response. They keep telling me they will contact accounts department and then dissappear. I need my funds. I see from the complaints that this is a pattern by CEX.IO to withhold funds.

These people are crooks. The will let you buy crypto with credit card but then refuse to let you withdraw the crypto.Claiming "security reasons". And then block your access to the site if you try to withdraw fiat currency. In short, they will steal your money.

While I have gotten a response from support, nothing has happened to correct my account.I hope someone here may be able to share some insight. Below is the short version of the conversation between Irene and me (February 8, 2021):
ME: i am interested in the following: alt coins, defi, emerging markets. the article i read, states that you have more than 80 coins available. where are they? i can only find like 7. there appears to be nothing listed under defi or emerging. am i just not looking in the correct place?

I've been trading and investing on CEX.IO for more than 4 years now and have had no bad experience with the platform.I always used a credit card cash deposit, which has quite a high fee - 2.99% per transaction.
HOWEVER, at the moment I'm just furious and mad because for the first time ever I tried to deposit money via domestic wire transfer to minimize the fees, but they are just ignoring me and holding my money. My bank has confirmed the money has been successfully sent on April 7th and CEX.IO on their end confirmed the receipt of my money. A week has passed!!! However, on their website they state that domestic wire transfer takes only 1 business day.
I have provided them the transfer confirmation from my bank with the details containing the transaction Reference number, the Order number generated by CEX.IO for wire transfer deposit, my bank account statement with my full name and the account number on it proving that it belongs to me. BUT STILL, THEY'RE REFUSING TO ANSWER ME AND JUST IGNORING ME. I wrote a bunch of emails and messages to wire team, support team and to their chat. NO RESPONSE AT ALL.
I've been trying to reach them over the phone - NO RESPONSE.
After all, I have missed the price target that I've been waiting for so long and missed the opportunity to buy crypto for the desired price because it surged 2 times higher!!! Now instead of 3,000 coins I can buy only 1,500 or even less because there's a huge bullrun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OR MAYBE THEY ARE SECRETLY EXPLOITING MY MONEY AND MAKING PROFITS WITHOUT MY CONSENT.
