Worst business ever. When you are buying they would act like the best costumer service. Don't be fooled.In my experience, they have lied to me about the delivery dates for each of the items that I bought from them. If you want to speak with a manager, you cannot get one within 24 hours. When they call you they are not helpful and act extremely rude. I will never do business with CARiD again.

Never, ever buy from carID.com. They have the WORST customer service known to man.I purchased a wheel and tire package and spent about $1,800 in March 2021. I finally received them mid-April 2021. When they arrived, all 4 of them had damage. Each of the center caps were gouged/scratched/damaged. The packing material also left a "scratch ring" around the outside of the center caps on the actual wheels (ON ALL 4). One of the four tires WAS MOUNTED BACKWARDS. One of the wheels also had a nasty nick in it. I contacted them immediately via email and sent pictures - it took about 3 days for them to email me a response. One plus was that they sent out new center caps for me but I just got them today (5/19/21), and they refunded me a bit of money for the nick in the wheels but because I didn't mention the scratch rings in the original (I wanted to address the center caps, nick issue, and tire mounted backwards issue first, and made the mistake of assuming the picture of the scratch ring would speak for itself) they "can no longer confirm or deny where the damage came from and the original report was more than 30 days ago" so they won't assist me further. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! TYPICALLY THEY TAKE ABOUT A WEEK TO GET BACK TO YOU. DO NOT BUY WHEELS AND TIRES FROM CARID

I purchased wheels ($6K_plus) custom order with a fitment guarantee from CarID. I tried for 18 months to get CarID to respond from support.The email response had the contact number removed so I couldn't even call the support person assigned. I had dozens of emails with legitimate complaints, but they just wanted me to go away. The following is a letter I wrote to the attorney general of my state before they would address the issue. To who it may concern, I am responding to the recent status email of my complaint 579013 against CarID. The response by Mr. Kiefer is nothing short of ridiculous. We used the configuration with the tire size recommended by CarID. The tire shop tried tires of my choice AND the tires CarID said to use. This caused me even more rack time charges to resolve CarID's mistake. The wheel will not seat against hub fully to bolt down without rubbing against frame so how can they be mounted if you cannot raise the car? Not to mention if the rear wheels were to come off the ground during use, the wheels and or the tires would rub the frame. My contract was with CarID and was not an agreement with Lexani (the manufacturer). If CarID has an agreement with Lexani that has nothing to do with my purchase, CarID guaranteed the fitment when I order them, Lexani did not guarantee anything. I did not contact Lexani to purchase these wheels. The damaged center hubes were not "without hesitation" from CarID. They simply said "after reviewing to camera footage from warehouse, we confirmed the hubs were put into the shipping box" !!! Then would not replace them until I sent photographs of damage to Lexani and copied CarID. My complaint was they were destroyed by the way they were put into the shipping box. My complaint about the wheels not fitting was the same fashion. They kept avoiding the fitment issues with nonsense responses as I have described above with CarID saying the wheels would fit once car is lowered and suspension is normal ride height. The reason I want a refund is because of the impossible customer support from CarID They continue to fail to resolve an issue where they sold me a wheel that cannot be used for the purpose for which they sold it to me for. I want the wheels to fit my car !!! If they will not produce a wheel that fits, I want a total refund (4 wheels) which includes custom paint that CarID made a mistake on when first filling the order. I had to pay almost $500.00 over the original invoice because of their mistake in not painting the back side of the wheel as I originally requested. These were purchased with all the options and CarID has been unable to fill my order without damaging, getting the order wrong and not providing customer support for a problem that CarID caused and continues to imply that this is somehow Lexani's problem or my problem. Please allow this letter to be an official response to the general counsel Mr Kiefer's misunderstanding of the timeline of events, actual practical resolutions that need to be implemented and CarID's liability for misrepresenting their fitment guarantee. Please include this response in my original complaint # xxxxxx and any subsequent postings or website listings.

Horrible Customer Service - No Fit - No Return

I do not even want to write a review, but honestly I am hoping someone will do the right thing.I ordered seat covers that were suggested on the website for my vehicle. With everything going on, covid, kids, vehicles in the shop, etc. I did take a little longer than usual to inspect my item I received - just days outside of the 30 day return window is when I contacted. The seat covers I ordered do not fit my vehicle at all..... I emailed, got no response. I finally called, and they were very rude and told me there was nothing they could do, and to go sell them on eBay. They have a fitment guarantee, but the only options available on their site are a replacement or exchange... Please tell me how that would work if nothing you have fits my vehicle? All I really want is to return this unused product that I cannot use even if I wanted to.

Received tires that cannot be balanced

1. Tires and wheels were ordered on 03/29/21. The assemblies were to come with all accessories,mounted and balanced. 2. Tires and wheels were found on 04/19/21. My tires and wheels have been sitting on a loading dock in Florida at a place called Fulfillment 9. They were shipped after I tracked them down. I was told no one called to have them picked up. 3. On 04/22/21 when I received the assemblies were not balanced and I received none of the accessories that I was paid for including the center caps for the wheels. 4. I contacted Carid and was told they would send me my accessories but I would need to take the tires and wheels to have them balanced and they would reimburse me. 5. On 04/26/21 I delivered the assemblies to a Firestone to have them balanced. Later that day I was told that two of the assemblies could not be balanced and that they had run out. 6. I contacted Erica Aanested and was told I needed to send a run out report which I did on 04/30/21. 7. As of today I had no further communications with her and cannot use the defective tires that I have. 8. I have now, 05/07/21, received the Lugs nuts, Locking lug nuts, and the lug wrench. The center caps for my Mickey Thomason wheels I do not have and they cannot tell me when they will come in. No answer still on how to balance the defective tires or get them replaced.

Wish I could give 0 stars honestly they sold me rims and took two months of waiting to tell me they don’t have them ??‍♂️ This is the worst online experience I have ever had.Oh and my spoiler was supposed to be delivered April 9th no updates ! Tracking number nothing ! I called two weeks ago and they said they would get the manufacture to reach out to me.....nothing so I called today and they said no one contacted the manufacturer to reach out to me. ....STAY AWAY order from Amazon never had problems there

Bad customer service

Ordered a pair of front struts for my sequoia, only 1 arrived but tracking said both had been delivered.Called and told someone what happened and said he would fast track a new strut. 4 days later still no strut. Called again and a woman looked up the call from previous chat and said he never processed complaint properly, and she could not tell me when a replacement would ship. So I’m just waiting now, terrible business. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

They are selling items they don’t even have in stock. Once you pay, they then never ship your items then they and charge you more for shipping.This site is a complete scam. I’ve paid over $1000 for shipping and have yet to receive my order or even a confirmation that they have been shipped. For the past month I have been contacting Carid only for them to keep telling my the shipping date has been picked back. I haven’t even been offered a discount after waiting this long. They even told me one of my item that was “in stock” is not scheduled to ship until June 6th. But that’s not what I was told when I paid $300 for the part and $500 for the shipping. This company is a rip off.
