honestly, i don’t understand why a monthly ticket costs 84 eur when the trains and stations are extremely dirty.nobody is ever cleaning them. Also once there is an accident it is impossible to go anywhere and they never provide a bus or anything when ubahn breaks. as a customer paying a lot for this service it should be better. also considering that a lot of people dont speak german in the city they should provide english text when there is an accident etc. the signs are also really not obvious.i am just highly disappointed with berlin transportation in every aspect. really bad quality for high priceread more

Vistor from outside Berlin

Vistor from outside Berlin: within only 20 minutes on U6 train I experienced two ticket checks. So far so good, but have look at this: One poor guy had no ticket and tried to run away whilst two South European looking check personnel members followed and caught him. A scene felt similar to 2 world war in Berlin, where nazi-police “treated” someone according to their sick perception. The poor guy was beaten as if he did something really bad.
I travel a lot, but ugly scenes like that you can only find in Germany.read more

In Berlin for one day, Nobody to help at the station, I was in a rush, I bought my tube ticket thinking I was doing all right.
When I get out from the train,2 controllers came to me, speaking in German.. They saw I was a foreigner, arrived in Berlin not even 1h ago. I showed my ticket, they told me I didn't buy the right ticket... I didn't know...
60€ penalty for 1€ difference... and because I live in UK, it has been £66,80 ... Welcome in Berlinread more
