Beware, after purchasing and installing a large amount of vinyl plank flooring, we have had an issue with the floor poping,the company that did my installing has put down hundreds of these types of floors and has never run ito a problem like this, wall spacing as they insist is not the problem, Floors Direct wants to charge $500.00 to send a company out to inspect, which they did say they would refund, if that really was the problem, but as we all know, that is a nice way out. Thank you Floors Direct, for being so helpful.........

The flooring was gorgeous! I received two boxes of samples and could hardly choose just one because they were all so beautiful.Customer Service helped immensely with my loads of questions about types of flooring, installation and extras we might need. They were super kind and always had a time to help, with thorough and knowledgable answers. The flooring arrived within the given time frame and was just wonderful! Hardly any pieces were slightly damaged (due to straps being tied down too tightly) and most of the boxes were in excellent condition. They were light weight and easy to move/handle. The builder is very satisfied with the quality of the material.We chose "Harvest -birch" engineered flooring and absolute love it!

We have used build direct in two different properties (7 yrs ago) and recently recommended them to our daughter who just bought her first home.She ordered samples and chose her flooring, upon arrival there was way too much color variance in the planks and the dark planks too dark for the space and ruined the overall look. She asked the company if they would ship some extra boxes so the installers could just use the lighter planks. She was spoken to in a very condescending, unprofessional manner. They would not comply with that request. Phone calls were not returned only her email was responded to and no solution was offered other than placing the dark planks in inconspicuous areas?or returning all of it and starting over. She couldn’t return it because her contractor had allotted this week to install.
Samples not matching the actual flooring seems to be an ongoing problem here, as I see from these reviews. In the last email from BD she was told she should’ve ordered several 2-3 samples of the same flooring. This is something that should have been explained upon ordering. The photo of this particular flooring on the website shows the medium and light planks but not the dark ones.
Mistreatment of customers is never okay. Build Direct’s problem resolution specialist may need to brush up on his professional skills and reacquaint himself with the term, “the customer is always right”. I am embarrassed by the lack of customer service after I had recommended them based on exactly that!
Buyer beware! Customer service is lacking and colors are way off!

We ordered a large amount of vinyl plank flooring from Build Direct. We compared it to the sample that was sent previously and it didn't match.The information on the boxes was all accurate. Wew were assigned a person to follow us through on the process of return. It was handled very well by Sean. He was amazing to work with and answered all of our questions.

I've bought a number of floors from BuildDirect. I've recommended BuildDirect to a number of people.I spent more than $16,000 with them in 2020. I've installed a number of beautiful floors and previously they've been a great supplier.
The product I used for an engineered wood floor I installed in November is defective. Despite properly acclimatizing the material before install, cracks on the face of the material appeared throughout a month later.
In the past I've been thrilled with BuildDirect, but I've now learned that they won't stand behind their product when it is crap. I couldn't be more disappointed. I'm looking for a new supplier.

Excellent customer service and great products. Mila was great to correspond with regarding my add on order.She was transparent about availability, timeframe and shipping. She kept me informed about my order and responded to my many update requests promptly. The product is exactly what I expected and arrived in perfect condition almost exactly when I was told it would.
