Booking.com it’s an absolute SCAM , they list hotel prices at a very low price and when you do your reservation they charge you 50%more from the listed price...don’t get excited using this website. It’s easier to deal with the hotel directly.Also the wording they use it's incorrect when they do their listings...example beach view room and there is not beach view in the room.
Booking.com es un absoluto ENGAÑO, ponen precios de cuartos a precios con descuentos y cuando te envian la confirmación es el precio que te dieron mas el 50%...no te emociones cuando veas su pagina en internet. Es mucho más fácil contactar el hotel directamente. También usan palabras como vista frente a la playa.... y cuando llegas a el hotel .... no hay vista a la playa del cuarto que reservaste.

Time consuming for easy refund

I had a reservation with Boooking for January 1st in an hostel.
Arriving there the Hostel was all full.I have contacted Booking and after a couple of hour they found me an hotel on the opposite side of the town.
I have requested a refund, and the customer service agreed, but I did nnot see any money for more than one month.
I have re contacted them and they said the receipts I sent were not enough. I had to contact the Hotel and ask for the copies of the receipt.
I g^have provided them to Booking but did not get any answer for weeks.
Finally I have received a refund but much lower than what was agreed/expected.

I made a reservation, they charge it in my credit card. Minutes later they call me saying the place is not available anymore,offering another place. I said I m not interested, they gonna give my money back in 7-12 days and I can't use my credit card to make another reservation with booking.

SHOCKING! we booked with them! told the kids! booked the time off of work! Sat and looked forward to it..BOOKING.COM CANCLED FOR NO REASON!!after over a week! so it seems they can “just like that” at anytime!!! Cancel! we WILL NEVER TRUST THEM AGAIN (you dont have a holiday anymore! ) no sorry. FACT: if you would have known how much hope just booking it had given us! my 6 & 8 year old are in tears! its so abundantly clear that booking .com cancelled “our holiday”put £800 on top and are now advertising it on there site for more, money!! having been a very critical situation this year... this WAS, as much as we deserve a medal for what we’ve been through this year, sadly the only holiday we could afford! you Should be utterly “Ashamed” of yourselves!! Even Robin Hood robed the rich to give to the poor..BOOKING.COM do it the other way round! THEY OFFER “NO Guarantees” on their website! (So WHY BOOK WITH THEM then? ) I most certainly will not be! Definitely not to be trusted ...ever.

Guest booked through booking.com to stay in my Guest House and booking.com send me a email that the payment is not successful.When the Guest arrives we could not give him the room because the payment does not reflect in my account and booking.com also told me the payment did not go through. The Guest was so upset and gave my Guest House a very bad review.

I phone back and a man is saying he has booked my flat through booking.com and wants to know how to get in.I explained I am not with booking.com anymore and he should get his money back from them. I also explained I have left a bad review on trustpilot and reported booking.com to the police. Booking.com are crooks.

Ok after.a nightmare of having to change dates myself during covid chasing a credit note for a future stay..the hotel has now gone bust.. tried to contact booking.com... all i get is no refunds no refunds.... Follow uk law your not above it.... If you pay for a service you do not receive your entitled to a refund or alternative or equal service... No no no these cranks think they are above the law cancelling when they feel like it double booking rooms not good enough... you end up doing all the chasing around when a problem comes up.. they are not interested... Zero stars is to much
