I am ashamed to have supported this organisation

Reviewed on 2021-03-07T21:29:46

I am ashamed to have supported an organisation able to make such terrible mistakes and with so weak a response. They are a campaigning organisation but have lost their way, seemingly obsessed by their concern with "hate" speech - even if spoken many years ago and in whatever context. Judged by this sort of decision, they have lost the credibility that they require to do the job they have taken on. Focus on the problem you are trying to solve - states abusing citizens - not trying to add all sorts of other criteria in that tie you in knots. Shame on you and me for supporting you in the past

Amnesty. You can forward to Institut for Menneskerettigheder, Denmark who I contacted more than one time. However not as Mrs.O and Mrs. C WHO spot the unknown. You only act when the political purpose fits your need.

controlled opposition?

I support genuine human rights watch groups and campaigns. I was a loyal supporter and member of Amnesty International for years until I began to learn a bit more about its funding sources, founders, board members past and present (e.g. Rothschilds, Zbigniew Brzezinski) and some of the extremely spurious claims they have made over the years. I no longer trust AI and would advise anyone considering supporting AI to look more deeply into AI's history and false claims before giving your precious time and money. I'm not accusing AI of absolute across the board corruption. But there is enough pro-imperialist propaganda peddled by AI e.g. anti-Iraq, anti-Libya, anti-Syria and 'errors' that strangely often benefit western invading powers, to convince me to steer clear of them. For more info watch "Amnesty International Exposed" on youtube. Also search online for "An open letter to Amnesty International, by former Amnesty International Prisoner of Conscience Camilo E. Mejia, on the violence gripping his native Nicaragua." However, the fact that AI has been targeted by Israeli spyware suggests that it may not be all bad. If we recognise that Israel sets the benchmark for wickedness against both its foes and allies in this, our troubled world.
