I'm hesitant to give these stars as I have just begun implementing the ehr. The company was very responsive at first but when implementation started communication became poor.We were setting stuff up on our end faster than the company and I had to ask if I was under contract before the training was set up. The training one staff member received was way too fast leaving her quite confused and a bit frustrated. She does not have much experience in medicine. I have my training in a few days so we will see. Honestly right now if I could switch companies I would but maybe it will get better.

My wife and I own a medical billing agency and since the beginning we have worked with AdvancedMD.We were nervous initially when it was time to choose the medical billing software that we would use to help and service our clients, and I am convinced we made the right decision when we decided to work with Jay Cannon and AdvancedMD. We did not only choose a software company as we thought we had done, I am happy to say we also found a great business partner. Jay Cannon and the rest of the team have been absolutely key in the success of our business. They have always been there willing to help every step of the way, showing genuine interest in our success and growth as a medical billing company. I can't recommend Jay Cannon / AdvancedMD enough and if we had to do it all over again... we would do it again with them every time.

I am extremely disappointed and regret working with AdvancedMD. Alot of promises made and none fulfilled.Sale Manager and his manager failed to do the right thing. It's so sad to do business with a company that purposely neglects their duties to provide customer services and the second we had enough of the run around, they are charging us $2200 (at first it was $5,000) to get out of this horrible deal. Total Bait and switch company.

When reviewing charges and payments for a patient, the history screen is difficult to follow.Line items are shown by CPT code vs. claim level. Reports also leave a lot to be desired. Reports that are exported to Excel open in a format that does not allow the user to manipulate the data with pivot charts.

As a PT it has not been the greatest for documentation. Communication about cost for online forms,pt engagement, etc was not clear and then abruptly taken away or wanting me to pay an extra $150 per month. As a single person company I just couldn't justify that. Wish it was easier to navigate or have improved documentation but it works. Billing is pretty easy once you get the hang of it but have had some issues with Medicaid billing.
