I was bought the 23andme test and shipped the sample - guess what? 5 weeks later and they still hadn't received the sample.Customer service say a new kit will be shipped to me in 5 business days. Not holding my breath!

I bought the pack in December 2020 and paid extra for fast service.I
sent back the sample about 6 weeks later. Now I just realised I never heard back from them.
I tried their live chat but no agents available
I will terminate the contract as soon as I get the results because I am hoping that stops them saving your DNA on their database

They sent me someone else's report. From the moment I saw my ethnic roots as North African I knew something was up.I'm the colour of the underbelly of a dead fish. It got worse. It then showed me a list of supposed relatives - all Iranian including my 'father' and a 'half-sibling'. I can assure you there is absolutely no doubt about who either my parents are. I'm the spitting image of my dad and he as sure as heck isn't an Iranian gentleman called Abe. How much terrible damage could be done to not only my family, but to an innocent man who has seemingly fathered a white daughter several thousand miles away. I have laughed. I have cried. 23&Me is a disgrace.

I've had no problems with 23andMe testing. I deliberately withheld as much personal data until I got my results,to check the tests results matched my profile, and everything checked out. Genetic testing is still in its infancy so don't expect it to predict your entire life, but it can give some interesting results.

Be careful with this company. Don't waste your money. Finally they sent me my report with a single line of information where I came from,without any demographic detail. I wrote to them requesting a refund and they tell me that since I already received the report, they cannot give me a refund.
They also told me that they have not been able to determine my geographical background. So what is the test for if you can't get that information?
In my opinion, it is a hoax. Stay away from this company.

My fiance and myself sent our tests out same day. The lab reported receiving them same day.Hers came back a week ago. And my date was suppose to be today. Now it mysteriously changed. Very poor service and very poor customer service. I would never use 23 and me again. Been 4 weeks and still no results. I feel let down by this company.

7 weeks and still haven't gotten it

Start of March I ordered my product using the standard shipping, as this already cost $40 to get to Australia.I ordered well in advance, in order to ensure it arrives for my partners birthday on the 27th of April.
It took 2-3 weeks for them to actually post my product which mind you, they said it would take 3 weeks for me to recieve my product (what a joke). Fast forward till the 21st of April and still nothing. My product has been sitting in Sydney and I've instructed them to follow it up with their company (as Australia post has said they often get caught in customs).
I was simply given 'oh it must be lost, let's send you a new one and it will cancel the other', like !!!!!! I've told you several times I'm ordering this as a gift. You posting me another one is pointless at this point and you aren't doing what I have specifically to do and that is your job to chase it up.
Unbelieve, double the amount of time you offered to send this to me. Im incredibly annoyed with this disgusting service and I haven't even recived it. Nearly $200 for this. Totally mad.

From sending the test off from the UK and to getting all the information back took 3 months.
I did the ancestry and health test,I have no health issues at all... apparently so the test says.
Yet in ‘real life’ I have bordering stage 5 kidney disease. So that was informative ?
